My Top 5 Wedding Registry Items

One of the things I am most excited about this coming year is registering for my wedding! Bryan and I are both the babies of our families so it’s no surprise that we received our fair share of hand me down items when we moved in together. I’m currently using my parent’s dinner plates and silverware that they got for their wedding (in 1977 mind you), and I’d say that my cookware has seen it’s fair share of use since we got it four years ago. Check out some of the items I am most excited to register for below!wedding registry items keys to the cucina_edited-2

1. Ever since we got back from Napa Bryan has been asking about getting a decanter. This one is beautiful and will look great on our bar even when it is not in use.

2. There are a few big ticket items that I think everyone should register for, and a Le Creuset Dutch Oven is definitely one them. I’m already dreaming of whipping up my Italian Potted Beef Stew in it and some slow cooked short ribs too.

3. With all of the entertaining I do, I don’t have a proper cheese board so this monogrammed one is going to make becoming a “Lawrence” in May super official.

4. We have a cast iron grill pan but I’ve been dying to get my hands on a cast iron frying pan to make biscuits in and do some shallow frying with too.

5. Even though I don’t bake often, this cake stand will be great to display cakes and cookies and it when it’s not in use we can use it to show off the bottles of liquor on our bar cart.

Oh and that is definitely not my wedding dress (I wouldn’t spoil that!). Back in September my sister and I helped pose in some wedding dresses for my friend Stephanie’s company, Borrowing Magnolia!
