Tortellini Pasta Salad with Basil Pesto, Corn and Sundried Tomatoes

I developed this Tortellini Pasta Salad with Basil Pesto, Corn and Sundried Tomatoes recipe as part of an ongoing Brand Ambassadorship with Peapod. All opinions are 100% mine.

Summertime picnics are my jam. I love the spontaneity picnics bring, finding the perfect spot to set up shop, and whipping up creative picnic food that transports well and is delicious. In true Italian form whenever I think picnics, I think pasta salad. This dish was a summer staple growing up, but recently I have started to make it with cheese tortellini instead of regular pasta.

I found this cheese tortellini from the new Barilla Collezione while perusing  Peapod and you better believe I will be one click re-ordering them asap. They are fluffy, delicate and super cheesy, making the pasta salad flavor much more dynamic. Oh and pro tip – the longer it sits the better it becomes. The sundried tomatoes and fresh corn bring a slight sweetness to the whole party which compliments the herbaceous and garlicky pesto in pretty much the best way ever.

Head on over to From the Pod to get your hands on this perfect picnic dish and learn how you can get fee-free ordering for up to 60 days using Peapod’s services for the first time! ALSO, you can get $20 off your first order using the code PEASPOD20 (valid on a 1st order only, with a $100 minimum). Soooo what I’m sayin’ is that the time is now to turn delivered groceries into a reality!
